			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I recently heard that Tiger Woods is in as good shape now, as Michael Jordon, Lance Armstrong, Bo Jackson and Steve Prefontaine were in their primes of their lives. One of the reasons for this is that Tiger has made so much money on the tour, that he takes his personal trainer and personal chef with him wherever he goes.</p>
<p>The biggest edge Tiger has over his competitors on the tour is his physical size and the great physical condition that he is in. As I write this article, Tiger has won twelve majors, on his way of surpassing Jack Nicholas&#8217; eighteen.</p>
<p>Even if you adhere to a rigorous golf fitness training program, you can still get injured playing the game, because there is so much torque involved in the golf swing. This happened to Tiger recently, thus forcing him to have surgery on his left knee for a third time. He will be out of action for a month, but vows to return better than ever.</p>
<p><strong>Diet   </strong></p>
<p>Diet is one of the golf fitness training areas that professional golfers of today are so different than their counter-parts of fifty years ago. A majority of them are in excellent condition and don&#8217;t smoke cigarettes, while they are playing, like Arnold Palmer used to, excluding John Daly.</p>
<p>Tiger has a strict diet of natural foods that he consumes every day. In addition, Tiger drinks a lot of water and Tiger Woods Gatorade every day.</p>
<p><strong>Weight Lifting </strong></p>
<p>Years ago, Tiger was one of the first to understand that in order to compete with the guys that were hitting it a ton off the tee you must invest time in the weight room. Tiger&#8217;s golf fitness weight training routine consists of free weights and weight machines. In the off-season, his weight training becomes very intense, far different than his in season golf specific strength training program that deals more with resistance training.</p>
<p><strong>Aerobic </strong></p>
<p>Tiger elevates his heart rate and sweat output by riding stationary bikes and speed walking on the treadmill. This allows him to get an excellent aerobic workout without putting a lot of stress on his lower back or knees.</p>
<p><strong>Walk While You Play </strong></p>
<p>Not surprisingly, one of the best ways to get golf fitness training for is walking and playing it. This gets your legs in shape, and exercises those special muscles used in the golf swing. You never see Tiger riding in a cart instead of walking, do you?</p>

<p>Before you set up your own home fitness training gym, you should take a look at your home first. Find a good place in the house where you can set up your equipment. Your basement is the ideal place to put up a home gym. Why? First, your basement is built on concrete and can handle heavy loads so you need not worry about damaging your flooring with the weight of your equipment and second, if you have kids, the basement is one of the best place to hide away from them while you workout. Note that most kids do not like to go into the basement so you need not worry about your kids messing around with your gym equipment and hurting themselves in the process.</p>
<p>Once you find a place in the house where you can set up your own home fitness training gym, you can now start buying your gym equipment. Take a look at your prospective home gym and then picture out the kind of equipment that you want to have in your room. Forget about very expensive gym equipment. You do not have to have state of the art equipments in your home gym. All you need is the equipment that you can actually use to keep yourself fit. If you have no idea what type of gym equipment is suitable for you then do some research. There is plenty of reading material that you can find online regarding gym equipments. On the other hand, if you know someone who is into fitness training, ask that person for some information about gym equipment.<br />

Buying Gym Equipments</strong></p>
<p>To find good fitness training gym equipment, do some shopping first. Go online and take a look at the different gym equipment machines. Read the descriptions of the gym equipment carefully before you buy them.  You do not need to buy all your gym equipment at the same time. If you have limited budget, just buy basic gym equipment at first and then add more equipment later on. You may also buy used gym equipment to save some money. You can easy get used fitness training gym equipment for a fraction of their original price.</p>

They simply want to get in shape. They want to gain a little muscle so that their clothes fit right and so that they look more attractive to the opposite sex. There&#8217;s nothing wrong with that. Do you need to lift heavy weights in order to strength fitness train correctly? Absolutely not.</p>
<p><strong>Body Weight Exercises</strong></p>
<p>The truth is, you can get a great full body strength fitness training workout using nothing but your own body weight. That&#8217;s right. By doing certain exercises, you can build a great frame and muscle base that will impress those you&#8217;re trying to attract and you&#8217;ll feel great about yourself. What are these exercises and how do you do them? First, you need to learn about the various muscles in your body, how they work, and how to work them out. After that, you simply design a strength fitness training program that you can do three times per week for a great workout that will cause people&#8217;s heads to turn when they see you walking down the street.</p>

<p>You should always include a cardio exercise with any strength fitness training program. Running, walking and swimming are great cardio workouts that anyone, of any age, can do. Cardio will not only help you gain more muscle and get in better shape, but it will also help you shed body fat which will make your muscles appear fuller and bigger. Whether you&#8217;re training purely for strength or you just want to look better, you can get a great workout just by using your body weight. Just remember to also eat correctly or all your hard work will be for nothing.</p>

Your Eating Habits</strong></p>
<p>The bottom line is that, unless you change your eating habits, you will never become fit. <p>There are two main theories for quality power fitness training. One is to use strength training that imitates the skills that are used in the actual sport—this includes most plyometric and ballistic movement.  The other theory is to practice the actual skills in a controlled atmosphere, separate from the weight room, and to condition the entire body that way.  Knowing this, there are many sufficient power fitness training methods.</p>
<p><strong>Increasing Force With Power Fitness Training</strong></p>
<p>Increasing the force while keeping the distance and time constant is one approach to improve power.  You have to boost your strength levels if you’re going to successfully increase the force.  Strength and force are directly related because strength is the ability of skeletal muscles to produce force.  Increasing your strength allows you to increase your force, which ultimately increases your power.</p>
<p><strong>Increasing Distance With Power Fitness Training</strong></p>
<p>Increasing the distance while keeping the force and time constant is another way to improve power.  The most effective way to do this is to increase flexibility, range of motion in a joint or group of joints, because it will result in a distance increase.  Consider tilting your arm back when you’re going to throw a football. Improving the flexibility in your arm will increase the distance that is used to apply the force for the throw.  Full range of motion and flexibility training will improve your power fitness ability.</p>
<p><strong>Decreasing Time With Power Fitness Training</strong></p>
<p>Decreasing the time while keeping the force and distance constant will help to improve your athletic power.  If you decrease the amount of time to train then that means you will have to increase your speed.  This will also result in improved athletic power.  The only way to improve speed is to continuously practice the specific skill that you’re trying to speed up.</p>
<p>If you increase the distance or the force and you decrease the time then obviously that will further improve your athletic power.  Overall conditioning is also important.  Power fitness training overall is essential if you’re going to play any sport.</p>
